Is ‘Sorry’ overused? Australians, with our healthy level of cynicism, are excellent at spotting a hollow apology. We look for proof of authenticity. So, over the years of work in crisis recovery we’ve learnt to look for three elements in an apology and in many circumstances, the ‘Sorry’ bit is the least important.
