In March 2021, we worked with Nestlé in developing a stakeholder and media engagement plan for its soft plastics recycling initiative. In an Australian first, Nestlé together with IQRenew and a group of like-minded companies with roles in the soft plastics ‘loop’ helped develop a food-grade wrapper with recycled content.
WB developed both the media and stakeholder engagement strategy, while facilitating meetings with a range of key stakeholders at local, state and federal levels of Government.
The initiative received significant coverage both in consumer and industry media, and government stakeholders across all levels of government widely recognize the initiative as a significant industry first and a demonstration of what can be achieved.
Most recently WB ran the tier one media engagement for the announcement of Nestlé ‘s green power purchasing agreement, which heralded Nestlé ‘s transition to 100% clean electricity across its Australian operations.
